This is a pretty cool article. Good to know that not just science journalism is screwed up these days. Notice how I used the headline...hehehe we are going to get so much traffic.   1. Interesting read, makes a better case than the counterpoint. this strikes me as similar to white whale hunting in the beer community. there's only so much of the extra special to go around, meanwhile there is plenty of good product.

  3. been to half barrel yet? never tried a whisky flight, but might be getting a scotch flight this saturday!

  4. I was there a couple of weeks ago. It was a nice place but the whiskey was pretty expensive.

  5. I usually drink at home, so not sure what reasonable is for whisky at a bar. The first tier scotch flight was solid, think it was $20. Total volume probably was close to two drams, across four glasses. Nice way to try a variety
